About the team

The Supply team focuses on ensuring that we grow, retain and engage our chauffeur network by offering an outstanding product experience. This team carries a triad of responsibilities: managing the chauffeur app, the web-based sign-up process, and also the back-office tools for our operations and customer experience teams.

The chauffeur app is instrumental in shaping the day-to-day experiences of thousands of chauffeurs across four countries, making their daily jobs easier and helping them deliver top-notch service to our passengers. As a dual-native team, the team is proficient and equally prioritises the development for both iOS and Android using their respective native technologies. This approach mirrors our chauffeur distribution, which stands at an equal 50/50 split (contrasting the typical 90/10 disparity on the passenger side).

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and maintain the iOS app for Wheely Chauffeurs
• Deliver innovative product features aimed at increasing chauffeur engagement
• Help driving excellent chauffeur performance through the iOS app
• Explore new technical solutions to enhance app stability and performance
• Contribute to both local and architectural solutions within the iOS function of the company

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Profound knowledge of the Swift programming language
• Good to Great understanding of Swift Combine (Rx experience) / Swift Concurrency / Redux-like architectures
• Eager to both learn from and share expertise with a team of experienced and passionate iOS developers
• Ability to write and maintain well-structured documentation and proposals
