About The Role

Our Figure Lending team is looking for a dynamic, growth oriented sales leader who can help identify new business opportunities and secure partnerships with non-bank Mortgage Originators and Servicers. In this role, you will build and grow a robust network and be responsible for sourcing and structuring as well as negotiating and implementing a strong portfolio of meaningful partnerships and business opportunities. Collaboration will be a pivotal part of the role with the opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the company and with external partners as you develop and execute on partnership strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and apply your insights to identify and drive outreach for growing impactful partnership opportunities for Figure’s Lending as a Service offering and Wholesale platform, focusing initially on our HELOC solutions
  • Lead sales development and drive deal terms, determining the right approach, sizing and scoping the opportunities, identifying risks and ways to mitigate them, and driving the plan for execution
  • Lead communications and serve as primary point of contact for partner relationships during sales process
  • Work closely with marketing to develop sales strategies to increase visibility and effectively reach target audience
  • Provide feedback to leadership and product to consider new features to product to meet needs of partners and customers and drive more relationships
  • Leverage internal and external data to develop business recommendations that generate value for Figure and our partners
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, acting as a thought partner for product leaders on ways to create great experiences for Figure customers through partnerships
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and industry offerings and provide strategies for success

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years total in partnerships/business development experience and relationships within the Independent Mortgage Bank, Servicer and Broker community space
  • Strong sales skills, go-getter mentality
  • Creative and structured thinker who finds ways to unblock challenging problems
  • Great commercial and product instincts
  • Strong communicator comfortable presenting to senior executives and decision makers internally and externally
  • Data and analysis driven in all business decisions
  • Incredibly responsive and solution-oriented
  • Curious and creative, consistently seeking out ways to improve our partnerships and business
  • Deep and varied experience as a deal maker and growth leader in business development and/or strategic partnerships
  • Experience preparing industry analyses and presentations, and presenting to Executive Leadership, internal and external.
  • Demonstrated success at partnering, prioritizing and balancing needs cross-functionally.

For CO, NY, CA and WA residents, the salary range for this position is $104,800 - 131,200/year with a 25% Bonus and Equity. Actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience and location.
