About

  • We are looking for an outstanding Automation Lead to join our team in Russia! We’re looking for someone with a proven record of revenue generation in the programmatic advertising field, with deep relationships across agencies, agency trading desks and DSPs. You will have a passion for online media, data and ad tech. We want someone who loves our product and understands the programmatic ecosystem.

What you’ll do

  • You will be the programmatic expert and evangelist, utilising our diverse programmatic and data offering to drive Programmatic Direct adoption and revenue via PMPs and PG
  • You will support and uplevel the wider sales team via internal education and being the go to person for planning and execution industry trends and insights
  • Meet and exceed quarterly revenue goals
  • You will work collaboratively with our sales leadership team on strategic programmatic deals
  • You will sell programmatic across display, video and audio, with a knowledge of mobile app based programmatic sales and with a focus on audio & video
  • You will grow programmatic advertising revenues by creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with agencies, trading desks and appropriate demand partnerships
  • Focus on educating and inspiring our clients to use Spotify to enhance their business
  • Attend weekly and monthly sales meetings as required
  • Manage activity using salesforce.com, provide accurate and timely forecasting, and report on meeting activity
  • Work in both fluent Russian & English to business level writing and speaking
  • You will work out of our Moscow office

Who you are

  • You have 5+ years experience in a programmatic, with a strong background and understanding in programmatic technology, a degree in IT or related field is a plus
  • You have a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, verification & measurement vendors) and trends around programmatic technology, best practices, opportunities, and challenges
  • Solid understanding of the opportunities around use of data (1st / 2nd / 3rd party) and measurement in the programmatic ecosystem
  • Ability to educate internal and external stakeholders on how to buy and sell programmatic
  • Extensive experience working closely with Trading Desks and Demand Side Platforms (DSP)
  • Full understanding of how Supply Side Platforms (SSP) work
  • A strong track record of hitting your quarterly sales revenue targets
  • You have the ability to build a pipeline and proven track record of exceeding goals
  • Experience bringing in new business from both media agencies and clients direct
  • You know how to navigate the decision making process for programmatic business within the agency
  • Experience negotiating and upselling with C-suite level clients
  • You have strong negotiation skills and the ability to present effectively and close the deal
  • Previous experience in strategically using data and insights to inform client investment strategy
  • You have dexterity in creating reports and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.
  • You are a team player, smart, adapt well with change and have a positive attitude
  • You are able to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment and across external and internal teams to deliver outstanding results
  • Russian & English business level speaking, reading and writing is required
