Lead Analyst

You will have the following responsibilities:

• leading and managing the analytical effort over the assigned stream/silo related to the implementation of a core banking system;
• managing/accomplishing the business requirements assisting the business/OPS;
• managing/contributing to the core banking system selection from requirements/functionality standpoint. Guiding the business/OPS throughout the selection process;
• managing interactions with the vendor from the business requirements standpoint;
• owning and managing all types of analytical efforts for the assigned stream/silo (business, gapping, functional, etc.);
• liaising with Program and Project Managers contribute to the planning;
• working with the regional counterparts to establish interfaces, data migration, etc.;
• ensuring necessary handshake between components of the core banking system;
• managing assigned analysts;
• identifying, prioritizing and proactively managing dependencies, risks, exceptions and issues;
• generating solutions to address issues; helping to choose the most feasible options;
• proactively following escalation and change control processes;
• effectively communicating with key stakeholders both internal and external to the project;
• developing and delivering presentations to steering committees and senior management covering project status and plans;
• accomplishing preparation of required documentation; maintaining necessary governance;
• providing subject matter expertise on the streams assigned;
• applying lessons learned from recent projects to future projects.

We expect the following qualifications:

• 8-10 years of playing leading analytical roles in core banking implementations for the large scale financial institutions (preferably multinational);
• solid knowledge of corporate banking products & services and respective business & OPS processes for at least one (preferably two) streams/silos;
• knowledge of Russian accounting standards and understanding of US GAAP is preferable;
• working experience in implementations of Russian core banking systems (CFT, Diasoft, etc.) as well as multinational banking solutions (iFlex, FDI, etc.) is preferable;
• good understanding of IT architecture in relation with banking business processes;
• understanding of the following core technologies:
  • Application architecture
  • Applications integration
  • Programming principles
  • Servers & networking fundamentals;
• solid interaction and people management skills;
• strong communication skills, verbal and written both Russian and English;
• strong experience in building engagement with senior management,
• university degree.
