Context and Scope:
- This role performs and integrates best practices of Media and Digital to lead the media transformation in the CEAB&T unit. In close collaboration with Mediacom and other agencies, this role has responsibility and accountability for driving the quality and efficiency of the CEAB&T portfolio Media plans in all media channels, with the key focus on Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey.
- The key focus of this role is leading and driving the deployment of efficient media plans and content best practices for the local markets. This requires a strong local understanding of the media landscape, drivers, and local insights that can help inform better on-ground planning and delivery within the globally aligned media strategy. Strong collaboration with multiple multi-national stakeholders (all levels) from media, content, brand, human intelligence, and data is needed.
Responsibilities
- Single point of contact for all Media related queries for Mars Wrigley and Pet Nutrition with internal and external partners (regional Media team, MediaCom, etc.);
- Lead the collaboration with the Media buying agency (brief, budget management, appraisal);
- Media 2025 strategy deployment in CEAB&T (Launch of the biddable hub, media mix modeling, transformation in addressable media);
- Local and regional tool launches (local mAllocate tool, Regional Media Power BI);
- Media budget management and consumer promotion budget on the total level;
- mAllocate (mid-term planning process) leader for next year’s campaigns planning Lead the Integrated Communication Planning process and recommend Annual Media budget allocation and optimization;
- Drive Media capabilities development in CEAB&T;
- Social media and content management for CEAB&T;
- Lead “Privacy network” guidelines within the CEAB&T Drive internal engagement for media transformation and create external visibility for MW to excel in best-in-class media campaigns;
- Shape the role of media within one demand approach and integrated consumer journey planning.
Requirements:
- Education & Professional Qualification
- Degree in Economics/ Marketing;
- Russian/English at an advanced level;
- Expert user of MS Office;
- Strong media technical skills and tech savviness;
- Knowledge/Experience
- 7-10 years of work experience in relevant media and or marketing roles;
- Analytical skills and demonstrated ability to create a narrative from analysis/insights;
- Ability to set and achieve goals and manage multiple projects and priorities;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English;
- Ability to create strong relationships across internal departments and external partners;
- In-depth understanding of KZ, UZ, and TR media landscape, agencies;
- Ability to excel in transformational & vuca environment;
- Passion for change & challenger mindset.
