Data Analyst (Data Governance), Online Retailer (Remote, Serbia, Armenia, Georgia, Cyprus)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Data Governance related policies and documentation
• Enable control over who can access specific data and make sure that the access level is reasonable
• Upon request, investigate what data was accessed and by whom
• Ensure that there is proper understanding on how data is used
• Enable proper governance over data storage, metadata, and lifecycle
• Automate and improve existing Data Governance controls

Requirements

• Awareness of GDPR and its importance in Data Governance
• Experience with data quality, data lifecycle
• Data Governance project experience
• Experience working with data teams
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform
• Experience in data visualization and BI tool usage
• Experience with Jira, Slack, G Suite
• Experience in a customer-facing role (e.g. support, customer services, sales, etc)
• Able to maintain well-structured data in a spreadsheet, analyze and ability to make conclusions based on existing data
• Good SQL skills and a basic understanding of ETL
• Experience in writing and maintaining documentation and policies that are used across the organization
• Clear and friendly communication in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Team player who is a good match for the client Technology’s values
• Has worked with partially/fully remote teams
