Chief Information Officer (Remote)

Your main tasks will be:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure, including monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability and reliability. Establish an incident response and problem management processes to minimize downtime and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly;
  • Responsible for leading and managing a team. This includes hiring and training new team members, setting performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, and providing ongoing coaching and guidance to ensure a high level of productivity and customer satisfaction;
  • Lead the adoption and implementation of DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery/deployment (CI/CD), and automation;
  • Develop and manage the budget for IT infrastructure and DevOps initiatives. Allocate resources effectively, optimize costs, and align investments with business objectives;
  • Lead incident management and post-incident analysis activities to identify root causes and implement preventive measures;
  • Develop and maintain security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

We expect from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, including setting goals, providing guidance, and evaluating performance;
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Hyper-V, AWS and etc.)
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex infrastructure and DevOps issues;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors;
  • Both Russian and English speaker not less then upper intermediate level;
