About us:

  • Refocus is a remote-first Edtech company with more than 400 employees in more than 10 countries all over the world. We help people in the South Eastern Asia to get an IT profession and get employed in 6 months. We launched in January 2022 in the Philippines and Indonesia and already reached >$1 mln in monthly revenue and more than 10000 students.
  • Refocus is for those who want to contribute to building an ultimate Edtech unicorn in Asia.

About the Role:

  • Our business is actively growing (10x in 2022), complexity of operations increases as well. We’re looking for a mature leader and experienced manager who will take full responsibility of HR department strategy and operations in the following directions:
  • Develop scalable and mature recruitment team which will help our business to keep high growth rate.
  • Build from scratch HRBP team and strategy both for local teams in the Philippines and Indonesia and global remote team.
  • Drive employee-focused and caring HR operations.
  • Be an ambassador of Refocus culture and values to acquire and retain top talents.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in HRD role.
  • Experience of undergoing hard scaling.
  • Experienced and mature manager. You’ve managed at least 20 people in your team.
  • Successful track record in building efficient and scalable recruitment department.
  • Strategic mindset and zoom in / zoom out skills, system-thinker.
  • Experience of working in startup/tech company with 400-800 employees or more.
  • Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment.
  • English С1 or higher.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing scalable and highly efficient recruitment department.
  • Build expertise in hiring senior people globally.
  • Build from scratch team of HRBPs with strong focus on eNPS metric growth.
  • Drive team engagement and happiness through various activities and HR projects.
  • Support and develop HR analytics across all functions.
  • Drive employee-focused and caring HR operations.
  • Ownership and control of HR budgets.
  • Build all necessary processes and guidelines which are necessary for successful scaling.
  • Development and implementation of ESOP program.
  • Be ambassador of company culture and values.
  • Be a troubleshooter in people issues and conflicts.
  • Track team satisfaction and happiness across the whole company.
  • Work on Refocus HR brand.
  • Consult regularly with top experts in HR field in tech world.
