Finance Manager (Israel)

About the job

• We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and energetic Finance Manager to provide strong professional leadership to our Israel accounting and bookkeeping teams
• In this role, you will manage the finance processes of our two Israeli entities, drive process automation and optimization and build strong relationships within the organization, in Israel and abroad and with external professionals
• You should be detail-oriented, analytical, tech-savvy with strong leadership skills and able to embrace new tools and processes

Responsibilities

• Being responsible for all accounting issues as well as guiding controllers and setting processes
• Manage the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operation (review of journal entries, payables, receivables, cash flow, banking transactions, taxes etc.)
• Leading a team of controllers and Bookkeepers
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Work closely with the company’s external auditors and advisors
• Create an internal finance infrastructure to support the entities’ business and growth
• Ensure SOX controls
• Ad-hoc accounting, tax and finance related projects as needed

Requirements

• CPA
• Minimum 7 years of experience
• 4+ years' experience in a senior finance position
• US GAAP knowledge
• Great communication and leadership skills
• Excellent English – both written and verbal skills
• Excellent Excel and Office skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate responsibilities effectively and efficiently 
• Passion for innovative solutions and process improvement.
