Senior Data Analyst (Dubai)

Responsibilities

• Provide timely qualitative and quantitative analysis and insight to inform business strategy.
• Make recommendations to the business based on data analysis and modelling.
• Develop and deliver analytics reporting and Business Intelligence dashboards as required by business areas.
• Interpreting data and analysis into impactful, action-orientated reports for internal stakeholders.
• Understand business challenges and opportunities and identify where customer data could help support business decisions.
• Promote a data-driven organization and empower teams with actionable data and with automated and intuitive KPI dashboards.
• Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across the company (Engineering, Product, Finance, Marketing and Operations etc.).
• Support the team and/or other analysts in the design, construction and implementation of appropriate analytical processes which support business objectives.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of proven experience in an analytical / insight role in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Degree in Mathematics / Statistics / Data Science / Computer Science / Business / Finance.
• Proficient in writing and executing complex queries in SQL.
• Advanced skills in business intelligence / data visualization tools (PowerBI/Tableau).
• Experience of developing and delivering analytics dashboards and reporting.
• Good business acumen with the ability to connect data, analytics and strategic thinking.
• Ability to present complex information clearly and professionally to a variety of audiences.
• Strong attention to detail, results driven with high accuracy of output.
• Self-motivated with problem solving aptitude and strong organizational capability.
• Experience with one or more programming languages (Python/R) would be an added advantage.
