Head of Commercial Finance

Responsibilities:

• Working with management to develop 1 and 5+ year sales plans monitoring progress against these
• Understanding revenue and profitability performance and key drivers
• Summarizing key findings in a clear and simple manner and producing month end slide for Management performance review
• Support Commercial teams with analysis, contract preparations, negotiations
• Financial Accounting/reporting including Revenue and Cost Recognition
• Taking a part in Sales commissions and bonus plans creation
• Monitoring, reporting and evaluating sales performance
• Revenue and relevant cost forecasting
• Business case scenario planning and analysis
• Business partner to Sales and Marketing
• A key role within finance for various projects, coordinating with Commercial teams and Region Finance to ensure deadlines are adhered to
• Risk modelling and investment analysis
• Line management of team members - developing, training and providing on the job coaching, as necessary, to encourage best practice within the department

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a commercial finance role within Retail/ FMCG companies
• Strong commercial awareness - Retail & Foodservice
• "Multi-site" business exposure
• Commercial Finance; Budgeting & Forecasting
• Highly collaborative individual
• People management experience
• Relevant accountant qualification with significant PQE;
• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, CMA as a plus
