Chief Technology Officer

About the Role

• As our future interim CTO Russia, you will be joining the Engineering team and work on developing and implementing the technology strategy that supports the company's business objectives while being a bridge between RU and HQ Engineering teams
• We are passionate about providing the best experience to our users focusing on B2B area and are looking for a skilled Chief Technology Officer to drive stability and innovation in our platform

Responsibilities

• Be the contact person for IT processes in the Carpool and Buses areas
• Implement Data Security Policy and Personal Data Protection Plan
• Manage the platform's infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and reliable
• Support the replication of changes done by HQ team in tools presented in RU or influencing RU business
• Ensures compliance with government regulations that apply to systems operations
• Overview, optimization and evolution of IT Infrastructure
• Implementation of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as code (IaC) approach
• Support and development of Cloud services and Software factory implementation
• Organization and control of Data Flows and Analytical tools
• Development of monitoring systems and IT incident policy
• Develop and manage the technology budget and resource allocation
• Participation with IT strategy and Roadmap for Product Teams, working closely with the product and supply teams
• In coordination with HQ team, ensure compliance with security, data protection and privacy regulations and according company standards
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong technical expertise in: IT Security and Data Protection, IT Infrastructure, Cloud services, DevOps practices, Data Management and Analytics, IT incident policy, IT budget and strategy
• Experience with agile methodologies and software development practices
• Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality products on time and within budget
• Experience with marketplace platforms is a plus
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Passionate about technology and its potential to transform the marketplace industry
• English - Fluent
