About the role

- As a Manager, Special Events - Sales, you will be responsible for personal and team conversion and event management of group leads, allowing the groups segment to reach and/or exceed the departmental revenue and room night’s targets.
- This role is based in Dubai and is customer facing, both within the resort(s) and visitation of local accounts.
- You will also prepare all proposal and quotes which must be sent out within 24 hours of the initial enquiry in line with Atlantis the Palm and Atlantis the Royal standard template, and distribute and delegate workload within the group sales team in the absence of the Associate Director to ensure team productivity is always maximised.
About you
- The successful Manager, Special Events - Sales candidate will have at least 2 years' experience within a 5-star resort/hotel within Dubai, within a similar role, and have a passion for luxury events. Having experience with Delphi is also advantageous.
- You will also possess a flair for sales, holding a passion to increase all sales opportunities whilst applying your strong negotiation skills complemented by your ability to develop and build rapport with prospective clients.
- Academic qualification is not essential, but our ideal candidate will be fluent in spoken and written English, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and generate demand for resort and hotel venues.
- You will be a curious, fast-learner, with a fearless attitude and a passion for sales as well as comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. A proven track record within sales and events in the hospitality industry is essential.
