Product Manager (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Smartcat develops a collaboration platform that brings together buyers of localization services (end customers) and suppliers (localization agencies and freelance linguists).
• You will play a critical role in the most exciting part of our journey from a post-Series B startup to a company exceeding $1b in GMV.
• We're results-oriented, and we don't take this lightly: you must be a person who has a strong appetite for success, wants to grow fast, and motivates others to grow with you.
• You will work with several dedicated engineers, designers, BI analysts, QA engineers, marketing and sales specialists to ensure product adoption and growth.
• You will own the process of tracking usage data, defining product improvement hypotheses, planning the long-term roadmap and the day-to-day work, tracking the execution, and delivering results on time.
• You will have a unique opportunity to work on the verge of modern linguistic technologies and drive the whole language industry forward.
• Your outcomes will be:
• You will have a product roadmap defined for the next quarter for the technical areas of the product you're responsible for, and own this roadmap and delivery schedule further.
• For each feature we ship and for each larger improvement track that spans multiple product areas, you will have a definition of key performance indicators and be accountable for their growth.
• Together with the BI analyst, you will own dashboards to track your KPIs, as well as monitor other data sources and feedback channels, to inform your next steps and rapidly iterate to improve product performance.
• Together with the designer, you will own a process of developing new features, conducting customer interviews and ensuring proper execution with the engineering teams.

Requirements

• Outstanding achievement as a product manager for fintech, b2b SaaS, or marketplace platforms with a focus on product-led growth.
• At least five years of experience working as a product manager or a product owner.
• Ability to deeply understand the Smartcat product strategy and the platform’s functionality. We are building a market network for the global language industry while engaging several sides of the marketplace and running several products combined in the all-in-one platform offering.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Exceptional communication skills in interacting with colleagues, customers, and partners.
• Growth-oriented mindset.
• Aggressive drive for growth and a high tolerance for uncertainty and risk.
• Exceptional commitment to evidence- and data-informed decision-making.
