Product Manager / Business Analyst (South Africa)

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with your peers from engineering, operations and customer success on a cross-functional, outcome-based team to craft and deliver on OKRs
• Maintain internal and external processes company-wide
• Manage the communication flow between the customer success and engineering team
• You are responsible for developing, qualifying and accepting changes and improvements requested by relevant stakeholders, in order to ensure the most valuable and appropriate functionality of our client facing product
• Collecting feature requests, plan releases and coordinate sprints
• You will be a member of the Product & Technology team and you will be responsible for defining "Stories" and prioritizing the team's backlog to facilitate 'execution of the priorities of the epic (s) while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the functionalities or components of ComX applications
• You will strive for customer value and conduct research to capture relevant qualitative and quantitative feedback from our clients
• You will contribute to testing and maintaining the quality of the functionalities

Requirements

• Proven working experience on shaping IT projects (as Product Owner or Business/Functional Analyst)
• Familiar with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• High autonomy and eagerness to take a leading role to improve products & services
• Excellent analytical skills, i.e. ability to structure requirements and convert them into a functional and technical solution
• Collaborating and recommending solutions, while understanding and explaining trade-offs around time to market, structural and functional quality, security, maintainability, resources, and scope.
• Fascinated by IT systems, i.e. understanding how IT systems work and how they are build/maintained
• Result oriented and able to work within an international team
• Clear communication to relevant stakeholders about the outcomes, issues, blockers and priorities, in order to provide clarity in all levels about the situations/tasks.
• 3+ years of experience building services in a multi-tenant SaaS environment
• In a true start-up fashion, you may end up helping across departments and tackling many different tasks. Within our fast-paced environment, our team supports each other to remove roadblocks and tackle issues when needed
