About the Role

  • We’re looking for an Engineering Manager, Data to help us shepherd the next phase of data at Webflow. In this role, you’ll manage a team that oversees the overall data strategy for Webflow products and builds infrastructure to support data needs for stakeholders across the company

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a distributed and diverse team of data engineers as they develop the data infrastructure that keeps our Engineering, Product and Operations teams making data driven decisions
  • Highlight the need for and shepherd the implementation of new processes, data stores, and pipelines that enable your team to scale systems in support of company wide objectives
  • Facilitate the development of the individuals on your team, identifying areas for improvement and helping them to grow
  • Drive goal-setting with your team and hold them accountable for results
  • Help shape organizational processes and work with other Engineering Managers to continually evaluate how we can better support our reports and each other

Requirements

  • Have 2+ years experience managing and scaling data engineering teams in a growth environment
  • Possess 3+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer
  • Have experience with all or many of the core technologies that make up our stack: AWS, Terraform, Pulumi, Linux, Node, MongoDB, Kafka, S3, Redis
  • Enjoy opportunities to build structure that impacts your team members and their coworkers

  • Have experience managing agile teams to adhere to software delivery cycles

Benefits

  • Location: Remote-first (United States; BC & ON, Canada)

  • Our cash compensation amount for this role ranges from $144,000 - $198,000 for most US locations and $160,000 - $220,000 for US locations with a higher cost of labor. All figures cited above are in $USD and pertain to workers located in the United States. Pay is based on several factors including market location, and may vary depending on job related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills
