About the job

  • We are currently seeking a Junior Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in recruiting top-notch mentors to join our platform.
  • While prior work experience is not a requirement, we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills
  • As a Junior Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be engaging with potential mentors, building relationships, and effectively conveying the value of joining our platform.
  • In addition to communication skills, we are seeking candidates with a keen interest in recruitment and sales
  • You will be responsible for effectively identifying and persuading potential mentors to join Meander, so a passion for these areas is essential
  • This role requires someone who can think creatively, strategize, and execute recruitment initiatives with enthusiasm and determination.

Responsibilities

  • Find the best mentors via a sourcing strategy
  • Work with the Network and Community leads to create customised outreaches
  • Lead 1st calls with prospective mentors to answer any questions before they join
  • Act as a first point of contact before they sign up

Requirements

  • Ability to think creatively about where we can find the best mentors (both offline and online) and novel ways to reach out to them
  • Detail oriented with ability to handle high volumes of data
  • Data-driven, analytical approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high EQ
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in English
  • Passionate about career development topics (ideally experience in mentorship, psychology, coaching)
  • High agency, entrepreneurial mindset. You thrive in a “zero to one” environment

How we work

  • Remote (UK-based)
  • Full time or part time options available but at least 20 hours per week
  • Initial contract is for 4 months (May-August), with an option to discuss further engagement options at the end of the contract
