Localization Manager (Almaty)

Responsibilities

• search and recruit talents (copywriters, translators and proofreaders) for projects and tasks;
• negotiate the terms of work and payment, ensure necessary paperwork and compliance;
• onboard outsource talents, brief into context of tasks, communicate to them work standards adopted in the company;
• maintain a database of talents and outsource partners;
• maintain, estimate and control the outsourcing budgets and payments;
• maintain the Crowdin platform alongside with other teammates;
• assign tasks to freelancers, assure quality and control deadlines.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a localization manager, preferably on the agency's side;
• advanced level of English language;
• experience in managing remote international projects and freelancer teams;
• experience in marketing communications will be a huge advantage;
• experience of working on freelance platforms like Proz.com, Fiverr, Upwork, etc. CAT tools: Crowdin / Smartcat, etc.
