Senior Accountant (with Russian, Singapore)

Responsibilities:

• Track all transactions and perform data entry into the accounting system
• Maintain the financial books and records in accordance with financial reporting standards and statutory requirement
• Review the reconciliation of accounting to management systems to ensure the accuracy of accounting ledger
• Perform monthly closing to ensure high quality, accurate and timely reporting
• Assist with annual and special audits and ensure follow-up on outstanding issues raised from the auditors’ findings
• Participates in project activities of various workgroups in financial, accounting, and financial controlling areas
• Assisting in budget, tax computation and tax planning
• Preparation of quarterly GST submission
• Assist with preparation of year-end accounts and statutory finance statements
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the overall company’s goals and objectives are achieved

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, ACCA or relevant degree
• 5 to 7 years of working experience as an Accountant
• CPA / ACCA is an added advantage with of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of SFRS and basic tax knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Prior experience with 1C accounting software would be a strong advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must
• Possess strong organization skills, able to work independently and in a team
• Ability to work successfully with people from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds
