Description

• Our musts for this position:
• Complying with at least one of the following conditions:
• Be able to do an internship agreement with your school.
• You have never been subject to a "Contrato de Prácticas" before.
• Being able to work as a full-time employee in June 2023 the latest (You could be promoted to full-time employee in 3 months if you perform really well).
• Being authorized to work in Spain.
• Having good quantitative skills. Large datasets and coding is part of our day-to-day.
• Having a minimum C1 English level. We communicate in English all the time.

About the Internship

• We’re looking for an individual to join our research team and help us solve challenges across our different modules.
• Some of the potential questions that you could work on include:
• Review company-level sustainability issues including environmental, social and corporate governance practices and synthesize these findings into broader frameworks.
• Procur, verify and process data on sustainability by browsing through various financial, exchange and government regulator websites and materials.
• Assess trade-offs between different methodological options to calculate indicators and propose the most appropriate solution for our ratings.
• Identify and propose improvements and refinements to the methodology.

Requirements

• Deeply passionate about social impact.
• Outstanding quantitative and critical thinking skills.
• Self-starter who will thrive in a start-up setting by taking ownership and initiative.
• Experience in the financial sector and/or experience with Python or R will be a plus.
• Complete fluency in English (minimum C1).
• Location: Remote in Spain or from the office in Madrid/Barcelona. Of course you can do both.
