Junior Self-Driving Robot Co-Operator (in Dubai)

About us:

• The SDG fleet of autonomous delivery robots leverages innovative technologies to offer a safe and contact-free delivery option for our restaurant partners.
• SDG is seeking a Junior Self-Driving Robot Co-Operator to participate in on-going research, development, and deployment for our autonomous delivery robots in Dubai.
• The Junior Self-Driving Robot Co-Operator will help our engineers diagnose issues with the robot and customer experience, spending the majority of your day supporting the robots during delivery services.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the robots and all aspects of the delivery service in real time
• Log and report any issues to the relevant teams within the company
• Transport the robots to delivery areas and retrieve them at the end of their shift (including some occasional lifting)
• Observe robots remotely and be ready to assist in unexpected situations
• Assist the robots and restaurants, visiting by Segway or on foot
• Maintain professional composure in social situations with customers and vendors
• Act as a public ambassador and representative for Yandex
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
• Handle responsibilities deriving from annual growth discussions, OKRs, and the like as set by the local team leader and HQ teams
• Participate in training run by the self-driving team
• Support, train, guide, and substitute employees as needed
• Handle other responsibilities in accordance with instructions from the Yandex team
• Occasionally lift items weighing up to 70 pounds

• Familiarity with computers, iPads, Slack, and Telegram
