Payroll Business Analyst (in the USA)

Responsibilities:

• Support global payroll project implementations – all phases
• Create and maintain procedures, documentation, and payroll set-up and configuration repositories
• Conduct payroll research to resolve payroll escalations
• Look for and address changes to improve the global employee experience
• Support and manage enhancements and tickets as needed
• Build strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders – internal and external to understand and eliminate pain points through process redesign and system changes
• Troubleshoot system issues by coordinating with the appropriate teams and finding and implementing optimal solutions
• Communicate effectively with the Regional Payroll teams, stakeholders and leaders on enhancements, projects and assignments
• Manage and update tickets and work log and ensuring timely action and completion of items
• Work with and follow up with payroll vendors and escalate as needed
• Crossover support of other team members, reporting, documentation, etc.
• BAU support
• Development and delivery of training and training materials

Requirements:

• Recommended 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
• 3+ years of Payroll experience
• Background in HR and Payroll systems: ADP, Workday, Kronos preferred
• Skill with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complicated issues to be understandable by different audiences
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Self-motivated with a history of driving through to completion
• Ability to coordinate across cross-functional global teams and all levels of management
• Willing and driven to learn new skills/technology and ask for help when needed
