Requirements

  • Develop and execute cost-effective business strategies in line with the VSI Group overall strategy and objectives
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
  • Implement and manage effective governance, controls, and reporting to ensure that the company is on track to meet its strategic and operational targets including output, quality of service, revenue, margins, and staff productivity.
  • Direct the activities of the business while ensuring bottom-line profitability Oversee VSI Mexico’s financial performance, investments, and budgets and responsible for forecast, P&L and profit optimization and overall company reporting requirements
  • Make sure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times. Ensure legal compliance, including customer contracts, NDAs, and AORs
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to exceptional quality by communicating the shared purpose, mentoring and empowering the team to make decisions, providing guidance and support when required and holding them accountable for performance
  • Responsible for and oversee new business sales, client and account management, building relationships and upselling
  • Oversee the company’s day-to-day operations, delegating duties to appropriate people within the business, supervising executives and managers and providing leadership and motivation to all employees
  • Provide strategic advice to the Group COO and Board so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company’s future
  • Provide company reports and achievements to the board, shareholders, and business partners
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with all other managing directors to ensure successful co-ordination of all VSI company activities, as required
  • Demonstrates commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) priorities by promoting Group and local initiatives

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as Managing Director or similar managerial position
  • Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans and senior account and client relationship
  • Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company; have a good business sense and are able to identify new opportunities and further expand the business and the current services
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, governance and measures of performance
  • Excellent organisational, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience developing and executing operating plans in compliance with security, quality, cost, and delivery results. Developing and executing operations strategy in support of broader business goals.
  • Effective leadership, inspirational and collaborative management style; the ability to build and lead a team of several direct reports infuse pride in VSI’s values; able to think innovatively and outside the box about localisation services from a talent, technical and operational perspective.
  • Exceptional work ethic with ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team, act proactively and drive resolution
  • Proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Office-Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook)
