Senior UX Researcher (in Singapore)

Description

• BandLab is a social music platform that empowers everyone to be a creator.
• With a global community of over 50 million musicians and fans, BandLab combines music-making tools like the world’s first cross-platform collaborative audio workstation with social features like video sharing, messaging, and discovery.
• As a UX researcher on the team, you will be responsible for designing and conducting user research across the company. Based on your expertise, you will identify the best methods for the team's goals. 

Responsibilities

• Planning, recruiting, conducting, & synthesizing qualitative and quantitative research.
• Leading research initiatives to inform product strategy and innovation
• Executing research initiatives for teams to help show the right path for the next steps of a design, concept, or idea
• Creating deliverables, such as personas, journey maps, research documents, actionable recommendations, research presentations etc.
• Present your research findings to stakeholders, and work collaboratively wit product managers, researchers, designers, engineering teams and other parties who support our product development efforts.
• Collaborating with product managers in understanding upcoming research needs and prioritizing the most impactful research at the company
• Sharing insights from research across different teams and the organization to keep research top of mind
• Help teams iterate on ideas and keep the user top of mind when planning sprints and the following areas of improvement
• Facilitate ideation, brainstorming, and synthesis workshops with teams

Requirements

• Experience in conducting user interviews, usability tests, quantitative research & recruitment
• Solid understanding of how the product development cycle works & a problem solver who can apply different research methodologies with each of the various stages
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
