Senior Legal Counsel (in Dubai)

Responsibilities:

• Manage the legal entities for the group of companies located in the UAE (making corporate changes, obtaining new licenses, changing addresses and articles of association)
• Establish new legal entities and help with related processes (opening bank accounts, obtaining quotas for foreign employees)
• Act as an advisor on legal matters involving the company and coordinate legal issues handled by outside counsel
• Negotiate with partners

Qualifications:

• Law degree from a UAE university
• 3-4 years of relevant experience
• Fluency in English
• Permanent residence in UAE
• Solid risk assessment skills
• Thorough knowledge of legal research skills
• Proven ability to apply known legal principles to an unfamiliar set of facts
• Competence and confidence to influence, persuade, communicate, and negotiate
• Demonstrated track record in managing relationships with outside counsel
• Knowledge of corporate law
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask
• Preferred qualifications:
• Experience working with an IT company
• Fluency in Russian
