Position Purpose

  • Business analysis manager ensures senior leadership and business are informed of market trends and insights by providing timely data (both internal and external) for improved decision-making. This person will be responsible for creating a platform where both internal and external data can be sourced from to improve its usage for planning purposes (Demand Planning, Finances, Sales Effectiveness, Marketing, Sales). This role provides strategic guidance on how to best use the different set of data with the caveats that come from each of them. Provide in- depth research and analysis of information related to industry trends, production, market issues, product launches, price erosion etc.
  • Provide hands on support for business operations issues, while reviewing trends to provide guidance together with recommendations on potential risks & opportunities.
  • Responsible for development, target setting, monitoring, analysis and final calculation of motivational programs for internal customers.

Job Description

  • Development, target setting, monitoring, analysis and final calculation of periodic bonuses for internal and external customers
  • Propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting performance and enhancement as needed
  • Data visualization
  • Help with the deployment and support of newly introduced features
  • Work with the business (Sales, Finance, Marketing) to understand processes, data and product performance in order to develop solutions resulting in financial growth/savings
  • Monitor market and business processes, outcomes, software and operations in order to identify opportunities and develop solutions to: improve process, outcomes, and performance
  • Proactively develop analysis on market conditions, competitors and our own product lines
  • Manage ad hoc data request from all functions of the organization. Provide data and analysis to help address their business concerns.
  • Support and development of secondary, tiertary sales and stock data, control and support with TMA to external customers

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience or 3-5 completed projects
  • Demonstrated experience in working in different business areas and business models
  • Expertise in statistical methodologies in order to understand complex market dynamics
  • Inquisitive individual, willing to ask questions, probe, find answers in a complex environment
  • Ability to learn, design and automate processes
  • Analytical mind, experience and training. Ability to identify areas for improvement, research, analyze, design and implement a solution
  • Ability to quickly detect data anomalies, opportunities and develop pricing models that are actionable and practical
  • Ability to understand business objectives and levers to develop informative storyboard, present effectively and objectively.
  • Customer-oriented pro-active attitude: takes initiative, creates an achievement environment
  • Process-oriented mind-set to manage complexity and change
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate methodology, findings of analysis, and recommendations
  • Knowledge of data cleansing, preparation, exploration, manipulation, and visualization as well as such data management areas as data modeling, data quality, and data warehouse.
  • SQL knowledge (MS SQL/PISQL)
  • Power Querry, DAX, VBA
  • BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, etc)
