Narrative Department Director Associate (in Georgia / Remote)

• G5 Entertainment AB is a Swedish mobile game publisher and developer. 20 years ago we became the first mobile developers in the CIS and since then we have been leading the game industry.
• We develop games in the genres of Match-3, Hidden Object, Mahjong Solitaire. Our portfolio includes 20+ world-class f2p projects, including Hidden City®, Jewels of Rome™, Mahjong Journey®, Homicide Squad®, Jewels of the Wild West™, etc.
• We are looking for a candidate for the following position: Narrative Department Director Associate (remote)

Responsibilities:

• Work on and implement department strategy;
• Conduct research in narrative design;
• Seek, develop, and implement successful new approaches to narrative design on f2p projects;
• Improve existing and implement new processes in the narrative department;
• Ensure effective interaction of the narrative department with other departments of the company;
• Find and train staff of the narrative department and evaluate the quality of their work.

Requirements:

• Gaming industry experience (at least 2 years) and a passion for games (preferably mobile games);
• Advanced level of English (C1);
• Proficiency level of Russian;
• Strong soft skills;
• Risk Management Skill;
• Ability to think strategically;
• Ability to create and maintain clear and functional documentation to support department operations;
• Ability to organize both their work and the work of the team;
• Ability to present and advocate for their solutions.
• Would be a plus:
• Specialized education (philologist, linguist, screenwriter, director);
• Jira and Confluence experience.
