Principal of Drama (in Georgia / Remote)

• G5 Entertainment AB is a Swedish mobile game publisher and developer. 20 years ago we became the first mobile developers in the CIS and since then we have been leading the game industry.
• We develop games in the genres of Match-3, Hidden Object, Mahjong Solitaire. Our portfolio includes 20+ world-class f2p projects, including Hidden City®, Jewels of Rome™, Mahjong Journey®, Homicide Squad®, Jewels of the Wild West™, etc.
• We are looking for a candidate for the following position: Principal of Drama (remote).

Responsibilities

• Be an expert at writing scripts and fiction texts.
• Provide systematic training and development of the company’s employees within their expertise.
• Develop current and look for new ways to work on scripts and final texts.
• Conduct research within their expertise.
• Develop and monitor the dramaturgic component of existing projects (strengthening conflicts, checking the structure of the narrative, etc.).

Requirements

• Gaming industry experience (at least 2 years) and a passion for games (preferably mobile games).
• Willingness and ability to create clear and functional guidelines within their expertise.
• Willingness and ability to share their expertise and help project screenwriters develop their competencies.
• Advanced level of English (C1).
• Proficiency level of Russian;
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to present and advocate for their solutions.
• Would be a plus:
• Specialized education (philologist, linguist, screenwriter).
• JIRA and Confluence experience.
