What you will do

  • Set up new hire computers and ensure appropriate systems access by the first day of employment.
  • General help desk support for all company IT, including computers, Google Workspace, Slack, and other general productivity programs, networked printers, and video conferencing equipment.
  • Support for virtual and in-person conferencing environments (webcams, microphones, headsets, conference phones) with knowledge of virtual meeting applications (Google Meet, Zoom, MS Teams).
  • Administration of key enterprise software tools, including user creation, access management, and identity management.
  • Manage and procure the company’s tech devices, keeping a firm grasp on inventory.
  • Lead IT onboarding sessions for new hires.
  • Implement systems and processes to help build the IT department with a focus on efficiency and data security.
  • Lead the implementation of new technologies or systems.
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships, monitoring license needs and usage.
  • Keep well-documented records of performed activities.
  • Build IT knowledge bases and reference guides for employees.

What we are looking for

  • 2-3 years of IT experience in a startup environment.
  • A deep understanding of how to support Mac and Windows operating systems, along with Google Workspace, Slack, and other common productivity software.
  • Experience of managing IT for remote offices.
  • Ability to remotely troubleshoot a variety of end-user issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across functions.
  • Thorough documentation abilities.
