Head of Product Design (in London)

• We're looking for a passionate Head of Product Design to lead and manage our design teams to ensure our products and experiences are valuable for business owners and their teams and of the highest level of craft and execution.

What you'll do:

• Build, manage, and grow a distributed team of product designers and managers that consistently delivers great experiences for our clients.
• Drive collaboration and vision across the company to build alignment on priorities leading to product design and execution.
• Together with engineering and product leads, shape the product roadmap, both short- and long-term.
• Partner closely with a distributed team of product managers, engineers, user researchers, and product analysts to deliver high-quality experiences for people across our markets.
• Lead designers through best practices, attention to detail, and sometimes unconventional thinking to ensure business impact.
• Drive work to leverage our design system, build UX frameworks, and advocate for the priority of reusability at scale.
• Identify and grow leaders within the design team, setting them up for success through mentorship and coaching.
• Raise a quality bar for performance while fostering a strong, collaborative design practice.

Who you are:

• You have extensive experience in Product Design and substantial leadership experience - hiring, guiding, and developing both individual contributors and Managers.
• You have experience in growing a design practice within cross-functional teams.
• You’re passionate about design and how it can change the future of entrepreneurship.

• You have exceptional communication skills to ensure healthy cross-functional collaboration.
