Researcher Ops-Internship (UX-Researcher, in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia)

About the role:

• We are looking for our first Researcher Ops intern!  We are expanding our research team in KSA;
• Note: this role is open to bilingual candidates only in Arabic/English;
• As Researcher you will be working with our customers, UX Researcher, product managers, UX designers, UX writers, and occasionally marketing and customer service teams.

Responsibilities:

• We are looking for a UX researcher intern who has:
• A knack for recruiting participants into research projects for the purpose of product testing and interviewing;
• An attitude for learning new ways of working; 
• A skill for thinking outside the box to find creative solutions; 
• An Innate passion for supporting teams to deliver great work more easily and efficiently;
• This role supports existing product teams, including recruiting participants, distributing incentives, setting up screener surveys, and managing research participants’ data. 
• This means that you will own your part of coordinating research operations, as follows:
• Coordinate recruitment of research participants, based on needs of product teams;
• Build local relationships participants in every country where Tabby is operating, to help recruit participants directly for research eg via Whatsapp, social media, and in-person meetups;
• Coordinate distribution of incentives to research participants, in line with Tabby’s participant compensation policy;
• Assist in developing user recruitment tools, to recruit participants for research;
• Assist in setting up incentives management system, for internal and external participants;
• Running user interviews occasionally as and when needed.

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, anthropology, research methods, other social science disciplines, or equivalent practical experience.
• Behavioural competency:
• Organisational and time management skills in coordinating requests / demands from different teams successfully and efficiently;
• Engagement Skills in finding and recruiting research participants;
• IT Skills eg Excel, social media..etc.

• Learning new methods, best practice, and/or new ways of working, and sharing recent developments in own field of work, with team;

• Impact and solution-focussed and recognises that project success depends on the impact it makes for end customers;
• Independent and takes pride in planning and delivering their own work from finish to end;
• Collaborative and leads own work, with input from in-country team in recruiting participants, and building local relationships;

• Adopt highest ethical standards to user research, and treat customer data with utmost respect, in data collection, storage and distribution, and manage access to customer data, based on customer’s permission and job needs.

• Skills in managing relationships with colleagues, and passionately advocating for customers while mindfully balancing it against business needs;
• Skills in using research participant recruitment platforms eg Respondent, Usability Hub..etc;
• Skills in recruiting hard-to-reach research participants eg people who use cash only as a payment method.
