English Editor / Proofreader

Responsibilities

• Work with fintech topics such as trading, stocks, Forex, crypto, and financial markets
• Edit and proofread English texts for social networks, direct commutations, blog articles, etc.
• Review documents for publication, identifying spelling, grammar, punctuation, and usage errors
• Rewrite small amounts of text to improve message, readability, and clarity
• Capable of identifying problematic issues with text relating to overall marketing goals, cultural conflicts, content accuracy, and target markets
• Communicate with the Chief English Editor and Content Marketing, Brand, Blog, and Trading Academy teams
• Be responsible for the quality of English Content

Requirements

• A detail-oriented person with excellent analytical skills in the review of text for a variety of media
• Must have experience in utilizing collaboration and editing tools in practice and application of daily tasks. These tools form the basis for all tasks related to the position
• Experience in editing and proofreading texts on financial/trading related copies is an advantage
• Degree in Finances/Economics is an advantage
• Knowledge and interest in trading, stocks, Forex, crypto, and financial markets
• Ability to fact check.

Bonus Skills

• Native US/UK/Australian English Speaker or 6+ years of living/working in the US or UK
• Work Experience in a non-English speaking country
• Writing English Content for Publication
