We are now looking for a Trainee for our Business Analytics team in our Headquarter in Helsinki. The working hours are part-time and the working period is eight months starting late August or early September 2022

Responsibilities:

• Analytics in the area of macroeconomic indicators, market trends, metal prices development and forecasts, metal fundamentals, competitor analysis, customer analysis and procurement
• Developing and delivering regular reports as well as maintaining standard reports and dashboards in PowerBi
• Supporting our Business Areas with strategic projects and analytic deep dives
• Developing data strategy and respective models
• Harvest and analyze internal tacit knowledge through stakeholder cooperation
• Develop and promote information sharing and collaboration on deliverables

To succeed, you will need:

• A higher degree study background in for example Statistics/Mathematics/Data Management/IT or Business / Industrial Management or another similar field
• At least half of your studies completed. Additionally, prior work experience in analytics field is considered a benefit.
• Structured and systematic way of working
• A positive and spontaneous can-do mindset and a proactive approach to work

• Eagerness to learn more, develop and succeed
• A customer focused and innovative mindset as well as problem solving skills
• Combined technical and business mindset

• Good skills in MS Office tools, especially in Excel and Power Bi
• Fluent communication skills in English
