Product Analytics Lead (in Amsterdam)

About Us

• FindHotel develops the first marketplace model in accommodation distribution, making the step that metasearch failed to achieve by putting users first and using the most value sensitive platform design in the market.

What you will do

• Perform in-depth analysis to discover insights and optimise deals for the users;
• Analyse and interpret A/B test results, and contribute to the ideation and prioritisation of A/B tests;
• Work closely with the Product Owners and Tribe Lead to provide guidance on and influence goals, roadmaps and priorities;
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to implement tracking across the products and build data models and dashboards using Looker and Dbt;
• Be the overall data expert in the Marketplace tribe, providing guidance on all aspects of running this business unit;
• Communicate proactively and educate the rest of the company on insights and best practices;
• Lead our current team of Product Analysts and build it further to meet the analytical needs of our tribe.

Who you are

• You have 7 years or more of hands-on experience using data to drive product and business decisions;
• You have a minimum one year’s experience leading teams, and project management experience;
• You are highly analytical, data-driven, and have the ability to assemble, analyse and interpret data to influence decisions and communicate findings;
• Technical requirements: SQL, developing data models and dashboards using BI tools like Looker, Tableau or Qlikview (we use Looker), Python/R, basic statistical knowledge;
• Interpersonal skills: stakeholder management, clear communication, team management, and ability to work in a multicultural environment;
• You feel comfortable dedicating 40% of your time to hands-on tasks, and, if required, are ready to learn additional basic skills to get the work done;
• You have a proactive approach, a good sense of ownership, and a can-do attitude.
