Business Analyst Intern

About this opportunity 

• We are looking for a tech writer intern, who will help us facilitate and update the documentation for new and existing applications, investigate systems’ behavior and provide expertise on it. 

In this role, you will… 

• Analyzing systems’ and applications behavior.
• Preparing documentation for the applications including diagrams, contracts, solutions, etc.
• Supporting teams during the development (clarifying requirements, helping SQA with test scenarios coverage, explaining functional details)
• Planning, performing and implementing documentation improvement initiatives 

In this role, you’ll need … 

• Last year student in IT field
• Understanding of REST/Hypermedia API. Be ready to answer tricky questions on them.
• Common understanding of HTTP protocol: requests, responses, headers, error codes.
• Fluent English, written is a must, verbal would be great
• Knowledge of UML and ability to build different kinds of solution diagrams
• Good soft skills, ability to initiate and maintain communication between people, while keeping head cool.
• Analytical and solution-oriented mind, critical and logical thinking, ability to reach the correct conclusion based on the available facts and arguments

Would be great, but not required:

• Experience as software developer (ideally web services)
• Experience with Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence)
• Ability to read code and get needed information on system behavior from it.
