Research & Knowledge Sharing Intern (in Switzerland, Remote)

Main tasks and Deliverables

• Create documents and meeting notes to capture and share project knowledge and stimulate communities of practice.
• Act as a source of best practices for knowledge management and SharePoint and other tools usage.
• Help monitor and analyze knowledge management networks, tools and methodologies and their viability.
• Revise SES documentation to align with the configuration strategy and selected project management tools.
• Prepare and curate materials (decks, one-pagers, briefings, etc.), for internal stakeholders and country offices.
• Ensure SharePoint and Team sites are well structured, content is up to date, and ongoing modifications and improvements are carried out to ensure user satisfaction.
• Perform other duties to support the project team as required.
• Modality: Unpaid; part-time (50% to 80%, based on availability, to be discussed).
• Tentative start date: May 2022.
• Duration: Up to 26 weeks.
• Workplace: Remote.
• Reporting to SES Supporter Experience Specialist, Division of Private Fundraising and Partnerships.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or Ph.D. degree programme or have graduated within the past two years with a degree in design, communications, writing, or related field.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
• Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.
• Have no immediate relatives (e.g. father, mother, brother, sister) working in any UNICEF office; and have no other relatives in the line of authority which the intern will report to.
• Additional consideration will be given for any past experience.
