Senior Associate M&A Legal

Responsibilities

• Participation in complex M&A transactions, corporate restructurings and other projects under Russian and English law
• Legal support of M&A transactions, due diligence, projects in the field of corporate law and the securities market (with minimal involvement of a partner)
• Participation in marketing events (writing reviews, articles, participation in conferences, etc.)

What we are looking for

• Law degree awarded by a prestigious university
• LLB or post-graduate degree/qualification with foreign university is an advantage
• From 6 + years’ of PQE
• Work experience with Russian law firm, BIG4, investment fund in such practice areas as Corporate/M&A, IP and Digital Technology
• Preparedness to lead complex M&A transactions, e.g. interact directly with clients, participate in negotiations, instruct and supervise mid-level and junior lawyers
• Extensive experience with both Russian law and English law
• Fluent English and sophisticated level of drafting skills in both Russian and English
• Strong sense of responsibility for the result
• You should also be prepared to invest your time and skills into development and promotion of success of the practice (that includes marketing activities and educating junior lawyers)
