Stage Relations Presse/PR & Communications Intern (in Paris)

Your Responsibilities

• Managing incoming requests from French journalists: from checking the info internally (facts) to finding the appropriate figures (local data) and following-up with them.
• Organizing TV and radio reports: interviewing with spokespersons and members calls to find testimonies.
• Reporting and analyzing media coverage of BlaBlaCar and its competitors.
• Updating our BlaBlaCar newsroom.
• Participating in the definition of our French PR strategy and help prepare the appropriate content to execute it.

Your Qualifications

• You have a good knowledge of the French media landscape and you know how to stay on top of the latest news.
• You have great interpersonal skills and you don't hesitate to pick up the phone to call a journalist or a BlaBlaCar member.
• You have a native level in French with good writing skills and are fluent in English.
• You are curious to seek information within the company and creative when sharing it externally.
• You have the energy and the passion to deal with journalists' short deadlines.
• Nice to have: First experience in a PR agency or a communication team through previous internships.
