• Vektor AI is a global mentorship platform which helps people find and grow in careers that they are passionate about. We are a very early stage startup with an ambitious vision to streamline career development and support people in their career decision making process.
• We are looking for a Community Manager who will help us build a strong community around career development and growth. You will be working with top experts, researchers and mentors across the world to bring them together and increase value that they are getting from the platform.

You’ll be responsible for

• creating and nurturing a community of mentors by
• devising creative strategies to engage the community
• organising events with career development professionals
• providing advice and assistance to mentors
• being a voice of the user by
• regularly conducting user interviews
• relaying community feedback and insights to the product team
• working with a designer and a PM to create user-centric features.

What skills and experience do you need

• User empathy & Emotional Intelligence
• Some experience with conducting user interviews and analysing feedback - not strictly required but preferred
• Organisational/ project management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English
• Growth mindset: you own your mistakes and are able to learn quickly.
• Self-starter: you identify problems and find solutions. You don’t wait for someone to give you instructions in order to improve something. You are entrepreneurial, energetic and proactive.
• Collaborator: you are a team player and have strong opinions, weakly held.
• You are passionate about career development, mentorship, life long learning topics.
