Legal Counsel (Marketing, Traffic, IP, PR, General commerce)

What you'll be doing:

• Advising on a broad range of legal related matters, including marketing, e-commerce, regulatory, IP, commercial, and compliance matters
• Reviewing and drafting general contracts, including service agreements, consulting agreements, licensing, development and supply agreements, etc., NDAs, Integrity agreements etc.
• Conducting legal research on contractual, competition, regulatory, advertising, market-place related, data privacy and intellectual property laws;
• Reviewing marketing materials and other forms of communication by company to the public, incl. online and offline channels
• Working on IP and data protection matters
• Advising the various business units on business-related requests
• Issue spotting and referring appropriate issues to legal department and internal clients
• Participation in the litigations and administrative cases, incl. Federal Antimonopoly Service and liaising as appropriate with outside counsel
• Training new legal department personnel, if and when applicable
• Assisting the Lead of legal marketing stream in contributing to proactive solutions and suggestions to further improve the functioning of the legal and other departments

What skills you'll need:​​​​​​​

• BA or a higher law degree from a Russian university
• At least 3-5 years of strong and solid experience practicing Russian law related to marketing, advertising, e-commerce, IP in an in-house legal department of an international company or in a law firm
• Experience in litigation and FAS hearings on advertising matters in Russia is a must
• Fluent Russian and English language proficiency, including legal English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; exceptional business judgment, with the ability to think strategically and give practical advice to internal clients and business teams
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with, and gain the respect of, stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work independently and to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent communication skills, open-mindedness and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
