Intern to AFC Department

About role:

• Anti-Financial Crime department (AFC) plays an independent second line of defence role in Deutsche Bank counteraction of financial crime.
• In conducting AFC responsibilities, we seek:
• To comply with all relevant Russian laws and regulations and Deutsche Bank Group Policies.
• To prevent abuse of the Bank’s facilities, products and services for money laundering and terrorist financing purpose, violation of applicable sanctions regimes and in relation to all types of financial crime (i.e. fraud and bribery).
• Transaction monitoring and reporting team as a part of AFC performes the responsibilies for detection, analysis and reporting of transactions subject to obligatory control and transactions falling under the criteria of money laundering, terrorism financing and proliferation of mass destruction weapons. The main focus of Transaction monitoring and reporting team is on rigorous compliance with the Russian AML law and appropriate Central Bank of Russia regulations dedicated for timely identification, accurate reporting and maintaining effective interaction with the regulatory authorities.

Key responsibilities:

• Performance of financial monitoring in order to reveal transactions subject to obligatory reporting to the Russian FIU
• Participation in reports preparation for the Russian FIU in accordance with requirements of Russian legislation and Central Bank of Russia regulations
• Assistance in quality assurance of submitted regulatory reports, performance of spot checks and negotiation of discrepancies

Requirements:

• Higher or ongoing higher education (Economics/Finance)
• Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate English (both written and verbal) as a minimum
• Attentiveness to details, ability to work with large volumes of data and in tight deadlines
• Proficient skills in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
• Full-time job, fixed term contract till 31 March 2022
