How you'll make an impact

• Own the mission, strategy, and goals of a given product area
• Set the roadmap for how Contra handles global payments for the independent workforce
• Lead a cross-functional team of engineers and designers in the development of new product initiatives & experiments
• Identify, assess and scope product opportunities based on user research & data inputs, driving new feature development from conception to launch and optimization
• Write effective product requirement documents and user stories that capture feature requirements

You’ll be successful here if

• You are an A+ communicator (both verbal + written) that has a strong track record in creating alignment across stakeholders
• You are a resourceful & goal-oriented PM. Contra is shaping the future of independent work and as such we have large goals in front of us, we want someone that thinks outside the box to reach our product goals
• You have experience making data-driven decisions (analytical skills is a plus!) - at Contra, we strive to experiment and iterate to deliver the best product experience possible
• You operate well in a remote-based environment (and are within ~3 hours of Pacific Timezone)
• You are passionate about building beautiful and functional products that exceed user needs
• Payments experience preferred
• 3+ years experience preferred

Our interview process

• Product experience interview with Head of Product (30-45 minutes)
• Non-technical (introduction & culture) interview (30-45 minutes)
• Case Study interview with PM and CEO (45 minutes)
• You will receive a final answer from Contra no later than 48 hours after your final interview
