Senior Analyst (European Gas)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to our regular weekly report rotation
• Support projects, using technical expertise to remove obstacles and to find creative solutions
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness per company standards for the covered product/market
• Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using technical and basic market knowledge
• Improve content and design of our Eikon-based analytical tools, charts, and tables
• Build domain expertise in Gas market content
• Build experience in maintaining and developing market models

Qualifications

• Ability to track down complex data quality and data integration issues, evaluate different algorithmic approaches, and analyze data to solve problems. Curiosity about the details of datasets is essential
• Experience producing and rapidly delivering minimum viable products
• Positive attitude to learning new skills and technologies, particularly around the Gas market and analytics
• Excellent spoken English
• Strong grounding in statistics and/or operational research
• Basic Programming experience in MATLAB, Python, R or willingness to learn
