Social Media Intern (in Los Angeles)

What You Will Do

• Pitch social media content ideas by reading WEBTOON series and staying on top of the latest social topics and trends
• Assist Social Media Manager to update and track multiple content creation schedules
• Search optimize the existing and new content by updating metadata with pertinent keywords across platforms including YouTube
• Assist Social Media Manager & Specialist with organizing digital assets, updating databases and fulfilling sweepstakes/giveaways
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Who You Are

• Knowledge and use of social media platforms, including (but not limited to) YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat required
• Deeply engaged in WEBTOON, webcomics sphere online, staying on top of the latest news and trends within the community
• Interest in broader entertainment including video games a plus
• Graphic design & video editing skills a major plus
• Copywriting / copyediting skills a plus
• Follows The Zeitgeist / pop culture a plus
• Ability to analyze social data to improve user generated content and campaign performance is a plus
• Proactive, always proposing and trying new ideas, eager to learn and highly organized
