The original Holiday Dream Job is back for its third year of festive movies and prizes. If you’d like to get paid to watch 25 holiday movies this December, apply to become our next Chief of Cheer.

Who is the Chief of Cheer?

• At CableTV.com, we spend a lot of time giving awards to the best streaming, internet, and TV services.
• The Holiday Dream Job is our chance to give one of our readers an award for once. The Chief of Cheer will lead us into the holiday season by watching 25 holiday movies and picking the best streaming service of the season based on their experience.
• You’re a U.S. resident and 18 or older, we invite you to apply to become our next Chief of Cheer!

What does the Chief of Cheer do?

• If you get inducted as our next Chief of Cheer, we’ll be counting on you to watch 25 holiday movies within 25 days.
• After your marathon, we’ll ask for short written responses about your experience. We’re looking for someone to pick the best holiday movie of all time and the best streaming service for watching holiday movies.
• Don’t worry about buying all those movies yourself—we’ll be supplying our Chief of Cheer with some of the best streaming services on the market.

What will the Chief of Cheer get?

• This year’s Chief of Cheer will get more prizes than we’ve ever offered before! As always, they’ll receive $2,500 and a year’s subscription to seven major ad-free streaming services.
• But this year, our Chief of Cheer will also receive a year of DIRECTV Stream and a blanket from Minky Couture. We want to make sure they have everything they need for their movie marathon!
• Minky Couture is providing CableTV.com’s Chief of Cheer with a new blanket from their Hugs collection. Like us, they know how important coziness is to a perfect holiday movie marathon.

Dates and details

• Applications will open on November 1 and will close on November 29, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. MT.
• Applications are open to U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older.
