Data Scientist

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting with business decision-making using quantitative methodology and advanced machine learning techniques
• Developing data analytical systems to support company’s sales, manufacturing, and logistics around the globe
• Generating and testing hypotheses
• Monitoring journal articles and state-of-the-art solutions in ML and related areas
• Evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of available solutions from the business perspective
• Technology stack: Python, R, Hadoop (Hive, HDFS), Apache, Java, JavaScript

Requirements:

• Possess knowledge of methods and metrics of statistical analysis and machine learning, understanding of their applicability, and ability to explain them to the colleagues
• Have at least 1 years of experience of working on data analytical projects in industry
• Be able to build prototypes fast
• Be fluent in English
• Have a university degree in STEM or Economics
• Candidates with a graduate degree (Master’s or higher) are preferred
