• Wheyhey, the naturally sugar-free ice cream brand, is on the hunt for one candidate to take part in a study focussed on finding out if sugar-addicts can achieve the same ‘snackisfaction’ levels – swapping sugar-laden treats with sugar-free alternatives. If your idea of heaven is tucking into a tub of ice cream, then this could be the job for you.

How you will contribute

• The chosen candidate will be expected to try a variety of flavours from the sugar-free ice cream range, documenting their satisfaction levels in the process. Results will then be compared when consuming sugary counterparts.
• You will provide consistent, objective, and honest feedback to share opinions and to reach agreement on the taste profile of products.
• You will work collaboratively with others, using a clearly defined vocabulary and rating system to describe the products tasted.
• Full training will be provided to help you develop your taste buds and the specific vocabulary required to communicate your opinions.

Requirements

• A sweet tooth.
• A fan of frozen favourite – ice cream.
• A passion for food and to use your taste buds for detection purposes.
• Honesty, especially when giving your opinions.
• A hunger to try new, innovative products.
• Bubbly, you will be able to communicate with the team in a confident manner.
• Good verbal and written English.
• Basic computer literacy.
• To be eligible to apply, you must be aged between 18 to 60, as well as not have any pre-existing health issues including diabetes, obesity, and hyperthyroidism.
• Please note that if you have any dietary restrictions, intolerance or allergies to certain foods, this position may not be suitable for you due to the nature of the role and products due to be tasted.
• You will be expected to work remotely for this role and must have access to a computer and the internet.

Conditions

• The chosen candidate will be informed on the 1st August 2021. The candidate will be expected to perform their duties in the month of August, at a time that suits them.
• We’re expecting a high number of applicants for this one-of-a-kind role, therefore, if you have not heard from us within 31 days, your application has not been successful.
• You will get paid £1,000 to eat ice-cream.
• A VPN is required to respond to a vacancy.
