Chief Technical Leader for CPU & NPU (SW&HW Co-Design)

Main responsibility

• The main goal of this position is to guide and manage development and optimization of advanced software for mobile platform (CPU, NPU, Modem), design of hardware and co-design of software and hardware to achieve best performance and power consumption results. Your work may include:
• Manage teams and help them to achieve best results and optimize their performance and use state of the art methodology and technology in their work
• Work w/ team leaders, domain experts and customers to identify possible breakthroughs and new RnD areas, setup major goals and plans, establish new projects and build new teams, etc.
• Support development of new algorithms, software products
• Guide bottleneck analysis of software and SoC design and provide suggestions on hardware and software architecture and optimization
• Work on the requirements for SoC architecture with design teams to define SoC features and make trade-offs between power, performance and area appropriately
• Guide SW development, optimization, testing and verification processes for mobile platforms (CPU, NPU, Modem)

Essential skills and experience:

• 15+ Years for M.S. or 10+ years for PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied mathematics, etc.
• Deep knowledge of computer architecture and CPU microarchitecture
• 5+ Years of algorithm development experience, Have ML/DL Commercial product algorithm development experience with Computer Vision, Auto-ML, NN Model optimization.
• Proficient in Assembler, C/C++ or Rust, scripting languages (Python/Ruby)
• Proficient with at least one of following DL frameworks: Tensorflow/Phytorch
• Ability to guide team leaders and domain experts in their work
• Desired skills and experience:
• Deep knowledge of ARM ecosystem, Android ecosystem and Linux system design
• Experience in HW/SW co-design, ISA and system architecture definition, Familiar with CPU or NPU hardware Design.
• PhD in related area
• Be a winner of ACM, Math competitions
