About the role

• Maintain and optimize ETL processes, ensuring data health and integrity:
• Assemble datasets meeting functional and non-functional requirements, including real-time data gathering. Implement and support data model changes
• Connect new internal & external sources to build a сomprehensive data model
• Proactively investigate and resolve data-related issues, troubleshoot ETL failures, and provide technical support
• Engage in cross-functional projects with the product team and data scientists
• Identify and implement system improvements for increased efficiency
• Long/Term Tasks:
  • Develop and improve the Data Warehouse (DWH)
  • Become a data partner for Business and Operational Units
  • Develop and maintain feature & metric stores

Who you are

• 3+ years of experience as an ETL Developer or Data Engineer
• Strong proficiency in SQL (we use BigQuery, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse) and experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with ETL / orchestration tools (e.g., Dataform, dbt, Apache Airflow)
• Proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills
• Start-up-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated. Knowledge of stream-processing platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka)
• English – full working proficiency; Russian – basic working proficiency
